2 feet of snow, what should I do?

Oh my gosh that's a lot! We have some wood as a make-shift roof covering about half of the run so that helped by keeping most of the snow out.

2 feet of snow, what should I do?

Okay thanks! Their food and water is full and I shoveled out their run and opened their door. They aren't coming out but that's what I figured. Thanks for the tips!

2 feet of snow, what should I do?

Okay thanks for all the info! I cleared out their run and opened up their door, but they didn't want to come out, which I figured. This is their first snow so they are probably very confused.

2 feet of snow, what should I do?

Hello everyone, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I wasn't sure which one to put it under. But I am here in New York, and we have almost 2 feet of snow. This is my first winter with chickens. It is extremely windy and snow is blowing everywhere. I'm guessing I should leave them in their...

My hens fallen comb turning purple on the edges.

Hmm, this is really weird, it just went away! LOL. I went to go see if it got any worse and it's not there anymore. I will still make sure to monitor her since the colder days are coming.

My hens fallen comb turning purple on the edges.

Hello everyone. I was opening up my coop to get eggs when I saw her still laying. I look closely and her comb is purple on the edges. She seems fine, still laying, and is running around with the other chickens. What could've caused it and should I be worried? Thanks everyone.

    My rooster is acting weird.

He has been fine/accepted by the flock and was at the top of the pecking order. The other day, our other roo started attacking him and now he wont go near them.

    My rooster is acting weird.

Other than attacking the hens once in awhile, he is not that aggressive. The other day, our other rooster attacked him once or twice. I picked him up and tried to put them near each other but he ran away. I think he is more scared of the rooster than the other chickens.

    My rooster is acting weird.

Hello everyone. I have a rooster that has been moving himself away from the rest of the flock (We have 1 other rooster and 6 hens) He won't go near them and waits until they are all inside the coop at night to go in himself. Even when I give them bread (which they go absoluetly crazy over) He...
