    I totally blew it once and forgot to go into lockdown. Time just got away from me. Anyways it didn't ruin my hatching! They should be ok if you are quick and gentle. You can still candle just be quick and get the humidity up. Good luck!

    Thank you everyone for your input! I think he does look a whole lot like the red sex link. I wasn't even supposed to get any roosters but this guy snuck in there. I love him though. Very good protector of his group of girls! Sweet as can be also. I'm glad he snuck on through ❤️

    Has she ever gone broody before? When I find a nest with that many eggs they usually start setting within the next couple days. If you want to put them in the incubator to make sure they hatch that is fine but if she tends to sit she is probably getting ready to soon.

    I use just about everything. I have installed roost bars in corners that get used but mostly I find all my free rangers up on the metal dividers of my barn stalls and on the barn stall doors. Oh and up in trees. Be careful walking under any trees around the ranch after dusk haha.
