    Hahahaha, we’ll I started with four hens and one was a rooster 🤣 we wanted more eggs to share with friends and family sooooo somehow 17 became the perfect number lol. Chicken math is hard but I currently only have three laying. The rest are still freeloading 🐓🐣😂

    But now that you mention it. One of the chicks that hatched with it had one leg that was like that. I thought it was because it took almost three days to hatch and had one foot hung up in the membrane. I had to assist it. It did ok for about a week then passed.

    Hi everyone. I’m fairly new to chickens and have a flock of about 17. Leghorns, Easter egger, production reds primarily. Several different ages and a couple of coops 😳. Started in the spring and have added to my flock a few at a time. Love this forum for advice and information.
