    That simplifies things - they do look very similar except for coloring. Three of them are bigger than one (I weighed them, too), so I'm kinda fearing I have 3 cockerels... Which, based on weight, is likely if they are the same breed type.

    I think you're right on there - the lighter one behaves like a roo - calls the alert (no crow attempts, but a trilling peep) and everyone responds by freezing.

    These bantams are about 2 weeks old, they were in a straight run bantam mix at Tractor supply. Is there any way to tell their breed this early? They all have feathered feet.

    I'm good with no rain. Our run still has mystery leaks, and it makes for a miserable day when we have wind AND rain. Then again, hubby only does upgrades when there's something wrong, so maybe a bit of rain would help us see where we need to fix things... *ambivalent at 3:30 AM*
