Thank you. Nothing unusual in the diet, it's medicated chick starter. A lot of the birds were born with THICC legs but the father is a Black Orpington and he's a big boy.
This chick has super irregular feather patterns, we can't figure out why. none of the other hatchlings look like this- it's eating and drinking fine but it's feathers are obviously not developing. Any ideas?

We bought these at a local feed store about 4 weeks ago, they were housed with the guinea fowl, but it quickly became evident that they are not guineas. Anybody have a guess at this tiny little bird?

Thanks for the information. That's what we were thinking. We are actively checking the yard for a guinea fowl nest, it looks to be the right size for them, and they do have (now known) access to the turkey pen.
