    Updated pics

Do you think the 3rd one is a Roo? The comb just started to pink up at 6 weeks old. I have crap luck with buying chicks at Atwood’s. The associate that was helping me when I got these three assured me they were assorted pullets. I kept asking her if she was sure they weren’t bantams, but she...

Looks like you guys were spot on for the black Cochin Bantum- Roo for sure! The Patridge still has a very...

    Bantum Cochins? Brahmas? Gender?

It doesn’t have anything that I can see. Maybe still too young at only 3 weeks? It has a really fluffy head though, so maybe I just can’t see it yet, lol.

#2 doesn’t seem to have any type of comb yet. It’s only 3 week old though and it has a lot of fluff on its head. My Ideal 236 is double her size and is the same age.

These are very similar to the ones I got about three weeks ago, also from Atwoods! I’m thinking Cochins as well, but I also posted looking for some extra eyes.

    Bantum Cochins? Brahmas? Gender?

I bought 3 new babies about 3 weeks ago. The associate that was working at the time said they were just assorted pullets. A few days later I found out from a different associate that they are assorted Bantum Straight Runs. I tried to get good pics, but these little boogers are FAST and always...

    New Chicken Mathematician in Texas

Hello from Godley, Texas! I’m a chicken mom, but definitely not a pro at determining breed, type and gender. I have a flock of 11 adult feather babies and 6 brand new chicks. My girls (and 2 boys) are spoiled rotten! My flock is mixed- 1 Cinnamon Queen, 1 Red Star, 1 BSL, 1 Easter Egger, 1...
