    She has been roosting up high with the chickens so I'm wondering if she might have hurt her legs because of her weight.

    He had poult food as a baby and than decided to be a chicken and now he eats good quality chicken food. His legs are very swollen. He can walk a little but it's almost like it's too painful

    Chicken fell over dead.. should I be concerned?

    I wasn't planning a necropsy just yet but I'll definitely do that if I have another one randomly dies.. I was planning on just looking for basic signs and preserving a wing and some feathers for remembrance.

    One of my Easter eggers was perfectly healthy and fine this morning about tonight I noticed her unable to balance and she just fell over dead. Is this something I should be concerned about? I felt her and she seemed skinny and fragile

    This morning she seems back to normal. Her legs are still greyish but they're turning back. I think she might've gotten bitten or poisoned. I looked all over for snake bites yesterday but couldn't find anything but they heal so fast that it could have already been closed up.

    Yeah that’s what I’m starting to think. I’ve treated leg and muscle injuries before just never have had the legs turn color.

    She’s separated inside. She’s eating and drinking. I don’t see any swelling in her legs but they are the wrong color and are grayish brown when they normally are bright orange. There’s many rattlesnakes and copperheads here so I’m kind of concerned about something might’ve bitten her.
