Help please. My 3-4 week old chick is opening her mouth and kinda shaking in her throat

I thought it could be because she is hot. This chick is a lot bigger and stronger than the 2 other chicks her age. i got all my current chicks a week or so apart from each other so since I noticed the biggers ones were stepping on and hurting the tiny and younger ones I split them up into two...

My chick died because i failed to check for pasty butt

I had recently gotten 6 chicks, now 5. 3 different breeds in pairs. Because the breeds i wanted were very specific, i got all my pairs 2 or so weeks apart which meant once i got another pair, the other chicks would already be a lot bigger than them but i kept them in a brooder together. I have a pretty jumpy baby chick

I have one baby chick that's pretty serious about trying to jump out of their little house. She's only almost 2 1/2 weeks old. She's always trying to peak over the top then does a big run, jump, flap. She's gotta pretty close a few times. What's up with that?

Help please i'm afraid i hurt my baby chicks butt

One out of six of my baby chicks won't stop chirping

Im i'm sorry about your baby chicks. Mine all seem to be doing pretty good and i hope nothing is wrong with my chick. We got them about 4 days ago after one of our older chickens got sick and passed away. Best of luck for you and all your future chicken adventures :)

One out of six of my baby chicks won't stop chirping

Thanks, she does seem to calm down after a few seconds of holding her and she'll stop chirping for awhile after i put her down so maybe you're right about her just wanting a little attention.

One out of six of my baby chicks won't stop chirping

I have 6 baby chicks around 2 weeks old but one chick won't stop chirping. All the other chicks have soft lower chirps when they're relaxed but this one has a loud consistent chirp which won't seem to stop. I checked her butt but it isn't pasty or clogged up. Could something be wrong with her?
