    The owner didn't pay attn to the signs at the farm store I guess. She doesn't know what kind he is, but we'd like to give him a flock of his own if he is a suitable breed.

    3 week old barred rock came from LFS without a tail

    She seems to be eating fine. I haven't heard or noticed distress at any point these last few days. Cleaned her bum on day 1, but had to do it again today with some antibiotic after. She was not happy with me. Tomorrow being Saturday I will try to get my husband to help take a better bum photo.

    I know nothing about wyandotte...I actually only wanted the 6 barred rock but the gal at the checkout didn't want to leave the last chickie all alone, so she asked Me to take her with no charge. 💕

    I will post a pic of her bum. All her buddies have tail feathers but when I got home from the feed store and checked for poopy butt as I put them in the brooder, I noticed she was quite bare. I cleaned her bum with a warm wet rag, but it seems crusty again. What can I do to help her out? No...

    The white spots on their heads...do they look male or female? I agree they look barred. I'll tell you my greatest fear is that they sold me black sex link males! 😥 They weren't marketed as meat chicks, but...who knows how careful the store employees were.🤷🏼‍♀️ The top pic shows feet of the bird...
