    Mine are free range, and the run floor is covered and all sand. I have yet to see them dust bathe in the sand. They dust bathe always in the dirt around the garden or in the enclosed side yard chicken only area. Sand helps keep their feet clean in winter but still they didn’t bathe in it 🤣...
