I know it said it's common in either young pullets or older hens... but my husband and I were talking and as far as we can tell it's been about a week since she's laid.
I was reading that sometimes their pigment can change based on when they’re laying or not is why I mentioned that. I’ll try to find that thread to link.

I have another sapphire gem the same age who isn’t yellow. :/ we checked them both and the other one has white skin.
