@Kevin McCoy when I purchased my used HatchRite, the back door was removed. Can you tell me if you know what kind of material the back doors were made out of? I'm trying to have 1 made as I'm guessing it's necessary for optimum function?
I just purchased a Hatchrite MP I84 incubator and was wondering if anyone could help me with it? When I purchased it, it had been completely taken apart and all the turner motors, fan motor, everything has been unplugged and disassembled. If anyone has pictures of the backside of their...

Facebook groups mostly, and few people I've crossed paths with in the fowl industry, but I'm not sure if the majority of people giving the rave reviews are just small hobby enthusiasts or actual breeders that truly track their hatch rate percentages. So that is why I figured I'd ask here, seems...
I've recently been hearing people raving about the Hatching Time Incubators and wanted to see who has used them and what their honest thoughts and opinions are about these incubators in general and especially using for peafowl eggs?
I've always used GQF's and I feel like after some trial, I have...

He looks to have a breeding bump already, which means he's ready for love and when mine are in peacock "rut" they tend to posture and bow their head to everything in an attempt to court. That's what it looks like to me from the picture.
Would also like to add... What would everyone consider the overall general hatching rate to be for peafowl eggs in general? 80%?! Google (most consider to be the all knowing god of everything knowledge 🙄) seems to think and suggests that peafowl eggs in general are a easy hatch 🙃🙄
I feel like...
Hatching Eggs -
I would like everyone's opinion....
What do you consider to be the fulfillment of a breeder's responsibility in selling hatching eggs? Is it that the eggs are to be fertile and in adequate condition to hatch under normal circumstances. Would you consider the breeder's side of...
I need advice. I brought home 2 emu chicks when they were 2 wks old. I tried keeping them in the house in a brooder type set up that I made out of doggie play pen panels, artificial grass, and a heat lamp... but my house dogs wouldn't leave them alone and I didn't want to risk an accidental...
Thank you!
I was told there is a way to "create" the lemon blue coloring, but it can be a difficult process. I'm trying to research that now. I raise the cochins for mostly personal use and preference, so breed standard coloring is not my priority. I like them more colorful 😊
Thank you!!
My plan is to keep them and use these gentlemen as future breeders. I raise mostly BBS LF cochins, but have a couple other colored cochin hens so they are all still pure bred LF Cochins. I raise other types of fowl as well, but my main fowl focus is peafowl, so I breed and use these...
I have a rooster that I held back to grow out because to me he seemed to be "different" and I wanted to wait and see how he developed. It has now been suggested by a few people that have seen him, that he is a Lemon Blue LF Cochin?
The flock that he was hatched from consists of a blue LF cochin...
