Hernia surgery is usually in the lower abdomen. If the blood that occurred during surgery was not suctioned out completely it can flow down into the testicular sac and make a hematoma (basically a pool of blood that forms a clot) like a deep bruise.

I pulled up all the radishes today, they were big but a lot of them split. They are sweet and spicy! I'm sharing with the neighbor. There were supposed to be carrots in with the radishes but I only found 4 plants in two 75 foot rows!

I had a productive afternoon! After chickens were cared for I hoed 2 rows of sweet peas, a row of green beans and pulled a bunch of radishes to give to the neighbor. My legs and back are protesting!
