    I have left it in the shell and it just seems to be laying there, maybe absorbing the yolk? Hopefully this one was ready to hatch!     Thank you. The chick is still trying and peeping so I hope these are good signs! When you do this do you just remove the egg from the incubator and work at it at room temp?
