    Larger comb finally showed he is in fact a rooster. Is it possible this other could be a hen??? Trying to hold out hope for at least one hen 😂

    I think they stuck me with roos - which whatever. But they bought as chicks and didn't realize the upkeep.

    Back story a friend couldn't keep 3 of her chicks so I have taken them in. Appear to be very similar - one developed it's comb before the other but they're very similar in size. Approx 8 weeks. I also have a Japanese bantam - fairly sure he is a roo too but what do you think?

    Thanks y'all! I thought so myself but just wanted the extra eyes.. unfortunately we have to part ways with him and we saved him from a severe case of pasty butt. He's a favorite of ours but can't have another.

    This was one labeled as a golden comet but she/he is very different. Any ideas if this feathering is indicative of a roo?

    After seeing the production red chicks I think this is probably the closest to her/him. We will love it either way just was curious as we did not think it resembles the others at all.

    Hey all - new here! We rescued a few chicks the week of Easter. Of course all labeled "golden comets" only one of these chicks seems to have different coloring and a larger comb than any others. Any ideas what it could be?
