Also the egg was split hen i found her. coudl'nt find the yolk.

I checked her bum area yesterday and it seemed harder than the other light breeds that i own. Who knows maybe.

She was laying very well befre becoming egg bound. Then it suddenly stopped after she became egg bound though. :confused:

Do you know her wieght roughy?

How heavy would you say she is?

Not sure as she is a rescue. Im going to say about 6 maybe 7

Hey, I have a chicken who isn't laying. She stopped laying 4 weeks ago when she became egg bound. Today she looked very dazed and confused. She is eating. Not sure if she is drinking and pooping.

mine "growl" at me at night when i put them to bed.

I would look after it medically and keep an eye on it. if it looks like its getting worse go to an avarian vet to see what they'll say. Other than that I'm sure it'll heal on its own.
