    The little guy passed away minutes before this post was approved for posting. I had tried sugar water and seemed to help for a few minutes, but then he got so weak he couldn't even lift it's head. All it could do was twitch and all I could was try to comfort him.

I did open a small part on the air sack side and noticed the membrane wasn't broken so I opened a small part of the other side only to find it pipping at the wrong end.     So far the others are doing okay. I've been letting my mama do most the work but I've noticed once an egg cracks. If I don't get it before she notices the next thing I know the egg it busted open. Which is why I've been taking them as soon as they pip externally.

    It was just internal. Sadly it has passed away. It was pipping at the wrong end so I opened a small hole so it could breathe. Despite this it still passed.

    So I noticed on Friday at about 8 or 9 in the morning that one of my eggs had just barely begun to Pip. It is now 10pm on Sunday. I can hear the baby actually peeping in the egg but it has yet to zip. Should I be concerned? It's been at least 61 hours since I firat noticed it pipping. Also...

    I do have another question. I just did the math and the egg that was pipping started to pip at about 8 or 9 Friday morning. It's now 10pm on Sunday. It's been at least 61 hours and no sign of zipping. I can hear it actually peeping in the egg now. Should I be concerned?

    White Layer, White Campbell, or Jumbo Pekin?

    So for a long while I thought these two were pekins, but now I'm not so sure. They look very different from Sweetpea (who I have no doubt is a Pekin). I need help identifying them. I've tried looking it up but nothing is helpful. The first one is Eoywn, and the second is Galadriel.

    Well none of her eggs have disappeared like the one did. As for my camera I actually got a good shot of her laying an egg. So that was cool to watch. Outside of that just my ducklings attempting to sit on the eggs. XD

    I did not. Mice can steal an egg?? Even though it's bigger and heavier? I set up a camera in the nesting area so if ut haooens again I'll know what happened. Are mice nocturnal though? The egg went missing in the day time.
