My 2+ year old golden laced wyandotte finished a molt 3 weeks ago. She appeared fully feathered but didn't start laying eggs again. Now she is losing feathers rapidly and staying inside the coop laying down. Is she embarrassed of the second molt or is something else going on? I check her...
What breed is this bantam rooster? He is 10 weeks old. He has feathered feet and a full tail that is like a cochin. I'll try to get better pictures if needed. Thank you.
I have a 5 month old rooster that is half mixed. They said half Easter egger but he doesn't look like an Easter egger at all. Any guesses what he might be?
I have 6 week old baby chicks that were suppose to be cinnamon queens but from day 1 it was apparent they are not. They almost have all their feathers in so I thought I would ask here.
I don't know what to look for so I can take more pictures for anyone needing more specific areas.
I think it's a degenerative eye disorder from birth. Her sister has a deformity but it well adjusted. Thank you for the advice. It's greatly appreciated
I have a 18 month old golden laced wyandotte that had full vision until recently. I know she can't see out of her left eye, not sure how much sight she has in the right eye. She just stays in the coop by herself all day. I have been hand feeding/watering her lately.

Here is pictures of my babies. The first 3 is of Patroit, the big one and possible rooster/older.
This next set is the small one, Giselle. Today I was excited to see downy tail feathers!!!
Last set is both of them. I tried getting their feathering differences and their face and size...
I have 8 chickens. I bought 4 new hampshire reds first then a week later I bought 2 golden laced wyandottes and then yesterday I bought 2 speckled Sussex.
They are so awesome. I love seeing how much they have grown everyday! The only thing that stopped me in the past from having chickens was...
Like the first picture for the small one. They are asleep right now since it is 12:30am where I am right now but I will get pictures of Patroit and Giselle tomorrow. (Big and little) Giselle looks like the first picture with the same feathering though. No tail.
First post, first flock. I have 2 golden laced wyandotte chickens that are 3 almost 4 weeks old. One is twice the size of the other with tail feathers while the small one seems to have no tail at all. I'm thinking maybe the big one is a cockerel or just a week older than the smaller one but the...
