It's something I've considered. I'm new to having Rouen ducks, so it's a learning curve a bit. Quacken is very active with her sister and eats/drinks/swims normally. Just didn't want to ignore it if it could be something more concerning. Thanks a bunch for your input!
More fatty than anything. She has the sagging skin towards the belly area and at the bottom of the sag seems to be soft. No lumps or anything. She is too quick to catch a front facing photo to show you what I mean.
I'd say more fatty. The skin closer to the belly is not swollen, just saggy. The bottom of the sag looks swollen. Not hard or lumpy. I tried getting better photos but she's a quick one and can't get in front of her to get a better view.
My 15 week old Rouen is showing the same thing. No hardening nor is it effecting her day to day activities. They are fed Purina duck pellets. Her sister has no signs of having the sagging so I was worried for water belly as well.
