That is what i was hoping for, but they do not turn white, they stay blue. I got ahold of hoovers and they believe i have the white jersey giants woth wrong skin color. I only checked the feet of one so maybe yhe others could be yellow, but at least one had white. Definitely cant keep 4 jersey...
Thank you. He kept growing, as did the other we rescued, but she definitely didnt geow full size. Id say she got 3/4 fully grown. He wasnt done when we had to rehome him, but he was doing amazing. I appreciate your comment :)
It came from family farm and home and they claimed they were sapphire gems.
Having gems myself, i knew this was not correct. Lol.
I looked up jersey giant and it said they have yellow feet. Australorps have white and these chicks have white
What do you think about white australorp??? Never knew they were a thing until now.
I tried to call and find what hatchery they use but theyre closed now.
I bought these because they claimed theyre sapphire gems, but i have a lot of gems and theyve NEVER turned white!!!! These were all blue with white head spots. All new feathers coming in are coming in white!
What the heck do i have here!?!?!
These are btwn 6 and 8 weeks i believe. I didnt keep track very well this time since ive been hatching tons.
All are easter eggers. We have to take males to auction and decide which females to keep.
I am adding my guesses to hopefully make it easier to just add which number you disagree with...
Easter eggers.
Both have rounded hackles.
Not sure the age...i did a bad job keeping track of all that this time.
The color is red and not copper like the males same age as these ones.
Should i hang on until next month or can you te what they are for sure.
Auction saturday and we dont keep...
Ok thanks! The breeder i got them from didnt seem to know much. I hatched a mauve satin and she didnt think her birds could produce that.
She told me they were all calico. If i post the 2 girls from her can you tell me what theyd be also!? The one girl is cuckoo im sure but not sure on the other!
Hi!
I hatched these from my own flock but not sure who all the parents are.
I do know the one with 5 toes came from our blue silkie mom and the other 2 were bantam easter egger moms.
I have 3 males, a calico frizzled cochin bantam, a spangled oegb and a bb red oegb.
These 3 all have different...
The leg bands are the last image of each chick!!
They all have lime but the other color is the identifier!!
