    What kind of duckling?

    Is my goose egg alright?

That makes sense. Does the development in the pictures look okay?

    Is my goose egg alright?

This is my first time incubating goose eggs and I’ve already lost a couple. Does this egg look okay? I see veins, but no wiggly baby. I’ve only ever incubated chicken eggs where you can see everything. This is day 11.

    Good or bad eggs?

First time doing the float test. 3 on the left are touching the bottom, but standing up. Toss or keep? 🍳 Thank you!

    Are my chicks okay?!

I didn’t even think of that! Thank you so much. That eases my nerves.

    Are my chicks okay?!

It’s day 20 and my babies have started to peep. Well the incubator got bumped and the eggs rolled around. Will they be okay? 😰 Picture I took of a peep before it was bumped.

Did you ever find out what this is?

Does this duck have Bumblefoot or...?

I know this was several years ago, but my duck currently has this and I’ve found nothing online that can tell me what it is or how to treat it. What did you find out? If you can remember.

    Duck foot problem!

Elvis started limping today and I noticed this. It’s basically a massive callus. I researched bumblefoot and it doesn’t appear to be that, then again I’ve never seen bumblefoot in person. Any ideas? So far I’ve soaked his feet in epsom salt and applied bag balm. I’ve including a picture of Elvis...

    SICK PULLET!

I used a dropper and it must of encouraged her to drink because she started drinking on her own.

    SICK PULLET!

She’s not drinking, I’ll try a dropper. I’ll run to Tractor Supply when my husband gets off work if she’s still with us by that time. :(

    Yes, what do I do?

    SICK PULLET!

I opened the coop to let the girls out and my 15 week old Orpington wobbled out very slowly. Her back side is covered in light yellow diarrhea. It resembles pasty butt in young chicks. Her feathers are all ruffled and she’s just standing by herself with her head down. I know I will more than...

    Kalmbach Feed?

What’s everyone’s opinion of Kalmbach feed? It’s a heck of a lot cheaper than Purina, but is it good quality?

    Why is she doing this?

No, it’s pretty dry here in south-central Colorado, but that makes sense. No panting, no watery poo.

    Why is she doing this?

70s and breezy today, so not really. Maybe to her I suppose.

    Why is she doing this?

Why is my Buff Brahma hen walking around with her wings spread? I haven’t seen her put them down. I just got her today.

    How close is she?

I followed the illustration and she falls under the category of “laying”.

    How close is she?

Yes, I know it will happen when it happens, but I’m so impatient! Our beautiful barred rock girl is 18 weeks and 2 days. Judging by her comb and wattles, how close do you estimate she is to laying? She’s skittish, so I can’t see if she’ll squat. Our rooster has also become very territorial. I’m...
