    Why does my rooster squat?

Just went outside. Could not get him to squat under my chair, as he chose to jump on my lap instead. But he is squatting in my lap. He squats under my chair sometimes when I'm sitting in it. Either my lap or under my chair.

He does not do that any more. I noticed that every time I put out fresh straw, he likes to sleep in the coop just that one night to make sure everything is fine. He is doing his job, I guess, and making certain it is safe for the hen. I don't have time to get another hen, as I am traveling...

    Why does my rooster squat?

Well I definitely have a Rooster and he does squat very often. I'll call him and he lately rather than jump on my lap, walks under my chair and squats (sits). When I try to touch him, he does his Rooster dance around, as if he tries to peck my hands. He jumps on my lap and likes to be petted...

UPDATE a neighbor put together a coop like shelter for the Rooster. I also got him a companion hen. I built her a cardboard nesting box. While she has taken to it, the rooster goes in an removes all the hay. He now is “blocking” her in the nesting box with no straw. I assume she is trying to lay...

I went in the house and he remained at the back door looking in. When I opened the back door he couches down and tries to hide. I have no idea what’s going...

Pecking the feet. Didn’t know he was capable of flying towards me and attacking that way. The speed in which he runs towards me and follows me is alarming...but not a flying attack. Guess I should count my blessings

Only have him - no others. But he is constantly running up to me and my daughter for no reason to peck at us. I have to grab a stick to fight him off. He won’t be picked up now with out a fight. Not sure why he does this. Any insight is appreciated

Hello. I’m new to keeping a Rooster and have never raised any chickens ever before. Tried to help a neighbor who is moving and can’t take Rooster. Here for advice and to learn.
