I encountered a crocheter who charged something like a penny a stitch. That I can figure out for a price. How long did I work on it? Even with a timer, I couldn't tell you.

Any. The barring would go to all the babies and black tends to be dominate. There might be some color leakage as adults but all the chicks should be (I say should due to odd exceptions can occur) single barred fluff balls.
31 birds, 4 of which are roosters....and 20 chicks they're raising.....until mamas decide they're done, then most will go to a new home (plan before they hatched). 1 coop, no run, free-range from coop open until near sundown when they all go to roost (unless one goes broody on a hidden nest)...

V-comb effects would be nice. Polish and silkies are popular, even in mixed flocks. What the comb does when crossed with other comb types would be rather useful.
