We have about 14 month Black Astralorp. She is eating normally, pooping normally, laying, and none of our other 9 chickens have anything wrong with them except this one’s eye. I’m thinking it may be an injury, maybe someone pecked her? We’ve had all the birds since 1 day old and she wasn’t like...
She still makes that funny squeaking sound every once in a while—but she’s done that for her whole life it just got really often like it the video. So it’s back to normal levels. But we just stopped the VetRx because her lungs/ crop—wherever the wheezing was coming from is quiet now. We can’t...
Thanks for all the help! Unfortunately, I don’t have any other platform (I was barely able to do it on Facebook). Once again everyone really appreciate your help!
she’s had better and worse wheezing for two weeks it improved after the vet rx. Tonight is the first time she’s ever done this. But other than the wheezing she has been perfectly healthy and acting normally.

Yeah this really sucks! Not exactly what we are used to here in the PNW. Good luck and I hope everyone makes it through.
Even at night it’s near 100 the next two night, and im seriously considering just making them a coop away from coop in our basement for the next 2 days.
not only their well...
We also having been icing their water and have some frozen bottles for nesting boxes and etc for tomorrow. But Washington isn’t set up for these temperatures so the entire state is out of ice when I went to like 10 grocery stores and gas stations today. We are making our own with ice cube trays...
Thanks for the reply!
You know I set up a mister and they really seemed to not like it. Maybe I’ll try to get a real mister system. I was using a gardening wand with the mist function (maybe it was too much or something they were scared of).
and yeah, our summers usually never get this hot. I...
