This is my emu he hatched yesterday and he had legs that wouldn’t close in and they would always be out so I thought he had splayed legs, is this a good setup for his legs
What do I feed my peacock I just got, he is one year old and when I went to the place I get feed they told me to use quail starter feed, is that ok. Also the starter feed says it has 28.0% crude protein, is that enouph?
I would keep them together for right now but if you do see him start getting really bullied and start seeing signs of injury I would separate, but I would think they should be fine
Let me know what happens
That is just a duck thing might just want water to play in! Also if he is not attacking or really doing anything harmful to your chickens then I think they would be ok to be together.
Yes giving them there own egg shell crushed up is actually really good for them! Oyster shells are good for them in my opinion occasionally! The oyster shells make there eggs really tough and hard to break through, especially if you plan on hatching chicks. By the way I don’t feed our flock...
Did I do something bye not turning three days before 28 days then since I didn’t know it could take 35 which would mean I would quit turning them day 32
So this is my first time hatching duck eggs but I have hatched slot of chicken before, anyway. There on day 30 and none have them have even pippep. I checked yesterday and they were moving so I thought they would be fine WHAT IS HAPPENING
So this baby Guinea popped 3 days early then it was supposed to. I thought it would be ok but 2 days later it’s made bo progress but it’s still moving in there. One Guinea has already hatched and we have 4 more pipped including the one I’m talking about. Should I help it? Or should I leave it
