    8eggs today out of 13 confirmed layers.... we are averaging 8 a day for last month. They all seem to be on a rotation.. every now and then we will get 11 or 12.

    Thank you... I figured he was just slow like the hens are.... My wife has found a way to make 3 roosters work.... just apply Chicken math.. and Viola... no issue.. we should be moving to 21 hens and 3 roosters... with about 1/3 acre to range on.

    Rooster has become Lame.

    Howdy all, I have read a lot about this symptom.. and I fear it may be Marek's. Rooster was fine 4 days ago.. he developed a limp.. that has progressively gotten worse.. now he just drags his leg around... He still crows.. and hobbles out to the yard to watch his girls.. he eats and drinks...
