The top link was a test run from someone that wanted to help, it needs to be deleted.
The bottom link belongs to us and it looks like they have repaired the problem. All websites work again.
There server must be down, because I can't get on anyone's website that uses the same web host. And the bad thing is I can't even access it to add Six (6) New members.
Steve
Is there anyone else that can not get the ASA website to work?? http://americansussexbreeders.webs.com
If so please let me know and I will give them a call to see if they can fix it.
Thanks
I have sent an email out to all the members and some were returned, If you did not get one Please update you information on the join page. Please check your spam and make sure it didn't go there.
Thanks Steve
I have been sent some nice pictures of Silver Sussex but I can't open them, I will have to send them to wife to open then email them back to me so I can post them.
You know Rare Feathers you were one of the first 5 or 6 members that joined and was listed, you where also the Secretary for awhile...
On the Cornish X if you get the Black or Red Broilers they don't have the leg problems like the White do. That is if you are wanting to buy some, if you want to hatch your own I would say Orp to Del or Barred Rocks all are big birds.
I don't cross different kinds of chickens, so I have no idea how to get a sex link. But why would you want to breed a Buff Orp to a Barnevelder for? I would find me a Barnevelder Rooster and try to keep them pure. But that's just me.
Hopefully someone will have the answer your looking for.
We are in the process of getting our new website and we are also looking for new members. It is still FREE to join and you don't have to own Sussex to be a member.
I would breed for size and color standards of the country they are from and not the American standard they are not from here. Hodges farms also have the Red Sussex not for sure of the blood line. www.hodgesfarms.net
The top bird almost looks like a light sussex all but the head it's the wrong color.

Back in the late 80's my Baby Sister was 17 and married to an abusive husband, He would pull guns on her and say he was going to kill her give her black eyes etc, etc... Our dad had just had a heart attack and they didn't want to tell him so being the older Brother I was called. Anyhow to make a...
Sorry, I have never had the Speckled Sussex so I can't help you, not even for sure if you can tell the sex at 1 month by the feathers.
Hopefully someone can answer this for you.
