    Attack from above

It is just her skin from the thigh up the back and breast. I would say about 10 to 15% of her skin is gone.

    Attack from above

Yesterday I had a Northern Goshawk got to my chickens killing one,and injuring two. Today when I got home one of the injured ones was hopping badly. I lifted up her wing to see no skin left. Is she saveable?

    Brooding?

I have a 22 week old Java who has been laying for three weeks. Today she did not leave the nesting box and did not like me moving her to get the egg. What is up?

Here is the egg we have been waiting for. Our Java born at the same time started laying three weeks ago. The Black Americana pushed her first egg out today.

Who's my daddy part two better pictures

I order from McMurray, the 25 Brown egg layer assortment, so they should be 90% pullets.

Who's my daddy part two better pictures

Okay so I may have gone overboard with the photo shoot. 4 week old from McMurray I hope that will help narrow it down on the breed.

Who my daddy? What type of chickens?

I will try and post some individual chick pictures tomorrow on the page. Thanks everyone!

Who my daddy? What type of chickens?

Thank you, for that shorthand knowledge. I would have to guess that it is not an EE, because I ordered the brown egg laying pullets. Although I am sure stranger things happen at the hatchery.

Who my daddy? What type of chickens?

You say that like I would know what an EE is? I am new to chicken, sorry. When you say first one do you mean picture 2015?
