Haha... yes I found a couple of hidden nests when I looked last week, about 20 eggs in each. Louise was sitting but being the first few eggs, I binned them. Now they are laying in 2 nest outside their night quarters and 2 inside.
I'm in Australia, Summer atm, 40C lol. Even the lowest temperature in Winter is only -4 maybe.
I'll collect eggs when they put themselves to bed.

It seems everytime I go talk to the chickens and look around, I've been finding 2 or 3 eggs each time.

Yeah... my husband loves him and he's not a chicken person at all. Robbie pecks at Scott's feet till he gets picked up, then chatters with him. We have to keep him, but the others are free to good homes.
We bought coloured and brown eggs from a shop that was selling them to eat for $3.50 a dozen.
We hatched about 20 over a couple of months.
Now we would like to remove the boys from the girls.
I think I know which one's but I'm not sure. Any input would be a help.

7 ducklings hatched, 4 with good colour. The 8th egg didn't pip. It was still rocking and chirping this morning. I kept an eye on it till now. I couldn't hear anything in the egg so I pipped it, and after getting on response I zipped it and popped the top off. We lost it...
