If you have a trustworthy one around at the right time, I'd go with that 100%. But no incubator ever stomped on any eggs or ripped the head or legs off any chick...........

Just let one of the ladies do the work...lol.. They are much better at it than we are.. Specially if you are doing small numbers.. My last hen was 5 for 5...
I imagine there wing/ feather make up makes them immune to electric fences. Nothing for the electricity to go through. Try plucking all there feathers off,that might work...lol...j/k.....

i just painted my floor. as long as you keep it covered with wood chips and change it often you will not have a problem.. check out my chicken fortress...:-) also make sure you get some de... to spred on the chips at least once a week... it will dry up the poop. to keep it from rotting...
put a piece of carpet on the bottom... then use shreded paper for the nest...i have been using this for a couple weeks now.. i ran out of hay.. so i decided to try something different...been working fine.. also you can bag your own grass when you cut it and dry it out...:-) only draw back with...
