    The one that’s normal looking I can now see a beak and it breathing. The other grey egg I’ve shone a light onto it. The beak is in air bubble but no movement at all.

    Call duck sitting on two eggs. Yesterday both were making a tapping sound. Today one has made a star shaped crack in its egg. The other has gone a grey colour and I can’t hear anything. Has it died? Will I just leave it for now as not smelly? First time mum so I’m panicking a bit.

    I think one of the ducklings has died in egg. It’s gone a different colour and I can’t hear tapping from it. The other had made a small star shaped crack in its egg and is tapping away. Will I just leave the egg that’s dodgy ?

    Thankyou. I’m more nervous about these ducklings than I should be. Mum is fantastic. She’s nested in the nesting box (I have a chicken coop) so she’s safe warm and dry. I’m encouraging her out just to have something to eat/drink daily. Should I set up another house for when babies are here to...

    Hi. From NE of Scotland have 6 call ducks. One sitting on two eggs. Just heard them tapping. Exciting!
