I think it’s an old bottle or wasn’t stored right since I purchased it from a fellow chicken lover. I’m getting new stuff in the mail and hopefully it’ll be better. Thanks for the insight!
I’m not really seeing anything and I applied it first thing in the morning and drenched the coop as well as shut it so it was not in sunlight. The coop is small so I was able to do a good job. I’m just wondering how quickly it works because even the mites swimming in the stuff didn’t die 🤷♀️🤔
I have a terrible infestation of red fowl mites and I sprayed the coop top to bottom yesterday (2x in one day) . The hens were treated as well. I looked this morning and the bugs are still running around bright red and full of blood 😫 I lost a hen to it so I really need to get them under control...
Is it possible to take a rather sad looking Lavender Orphington who’s has very shredded feathers and cross her back to a black bird and get offspring without that trait? If I crossed that offspring with a lavender again would it just dredge the feather gene up again??
No I was just trying for fun egg colors 😂. I do have a couple of blue Marans hens and someone had said lavender and blue don’t go well together but they didn’t explain. I just want to at least responsible with my barnyard crossing ;)
I’m actually just trying to do Olive Eggers but I’d hate to bring that nasty gene into it. Do you think if I just crossed it to say a Marans or Rhode Island or another OE it would work to get rid of it? It’s just a mini hobby breeding so the offspring is just for me . Thanks for the awesome...
