Perfect. I have already put a stool in the run. I do have time to spend with them. Only thing so far is that they like to peck at my legs. I have to be careful since it's still shorts weather. Thank you for your response!
Oh joy! Looks like I am being tested once again. So, probably all cockerels. At least knowing the breed will help me figure things out AND I can name them.
I am new to caring for chickens. These are the frizzles that recently came into my care. Can any one please tell me what they are? They are currently about 11 weeks old. I would like to do some research about their specific needs. I had a really difficult time trying to get a good picture...
I am so sorry you had to watch her decline. I hate this disease! My MIL has been with us for just over a year. Since she lived across the road from us we were able to keep her in her home for about 4 years after she was diagnosed.
I appreciate the sentiment. Luck, I will need. I am sure...
Thank you. Well, the run is together but the coop is another thing. I have learned enough so far by reading the forum that you cannot just put up four walls and call it a coop. I live in Kelso, WA so it is wet much of the year. I really need to think this through.
I am constantly amazed...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New to chickens. I have had them since Aug 23rd. I know absolutely nothing about their care. I had to rescue them from someone that was neglecting them.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5
(3) What breeds do you have...
