Corid for Coccidia... Eggs okay to still eat?

Well I am glad we noticed her being picked on because that is what alerted us to a problem with her. I looked the other 2 chickens who are her "twins" and thought they were roosters because their large red combs and her small pale comb. When I realized they are all hens we realized she must be...

So we can tell just by feeling it? Shouldn't be too hard and shouldn't be watery?

Corid for Coccidia... Eggs okay to still eat?

I was wondering about that. Would it be normal for them to not lay regularly after going to a new home? We have a total of approx 8-9 layers and get 2-3 eggs daily. :/ but they just started free ranging so I'm wondering if some are laying elsewhere but before we let them out of coop we were only...

Corid for Coccidia... Eggs okay to still eat?

Yeah the comb color is not good. She did come to us with that color comb. But the other 5 are perfectly healthy. We are feeding lay crumble and hadn't given any treats til she was already sick. Mostly dried meal worms and some pumpkin and apples. Not exactly sure what her poop looks like she's...

Corid for Coccidia... Eggs okay to still eat?

We got a bunch of new chickens from 3 different home the past 2 weeks. 1 of them has been acting funny. The way I describe it is she is holding her head scrunched down... like a turtle would pull it's head down into it's shell. She's isn't too active and sits and falls asleep alot. The others...

    Is this a Rooster?

Thank you JedJackson!! She's in here for now. The others stay in the big coop behind but roam the property during the day. She's happy not having to be stressed out now.

    Is this a Rooster?

Thanks! They have plenty of room here but not sure if they did at their last home as we just bought them Friday night from someone else. For now she is separated in with the youngins and not being picked on.

    Is this a Rooster?

Thanks! That's what got me concerned in the first place. Any good at home remedy? Some suggested scrambled eggs or oatmeal. All our feed stores are closed on Sundays so I can't get electrolytes until tomorrow.

    Is this a Rooster?

I got 3 "hens" from a local person who lives nearby. They are all the same breed. Wondering if 2 of them are roosters. They arent crowing yet so I am not positive. I know some females have big red combs so I didn't suspect anything til the 3rd started getting picked on alot and I realized her...

We have 4 ducklings that are almost 2 weeks old and 1 hatched today so I had to keep the new one separate and it kept crying non-stop. I put a mirror in the cage with it and it rarely leaves the mirror. It looks at it all the time and peeps at it but its a quiet content peep...

How to keep duckling cage dry?

Yeah I was thinking about that but the water jug is a gallon and its as big as the pie tray or bigger. The little quart sized one would fit but they so far have shown me they needed more then a quart which is why I went and bought this gallon waterer in the first place. When you said they broke...

We are having a hard time keeping our duckling cage dry and they have been waking me up the last few nights because they are cold. Any suggestions? Right now they are in a 3x3 bird or rodent cage because its the only thing we have right now to keep them safe from the cats. We rescue cats and...
