    Oh! I never thought to consider a game mix. Neat! 😄 I kept trying to go off the comb but chicken genetics are so confusing 🤣 I'm from Florida. She was rescued in thr panhandle, right near the border with Alabama in the Graceville area if that helps.

    I know that you can ceossbreed silkies with some other chickens, but I was wondering if they are able to mate with any female and produce fertile eggs or only certain breeds? I have a Dutch bantam hen and a hen who is what I think an austra white.

    As far as I can tell it's some kind of discoloration. It's not raised nor does it really feel different to the touch than the rest of his skin. Here are some close up photos. Hes really squirmy and unhappy with me so I did the best I could 😩
