Black Star with large lump on back

I'd say yes but as a result of the lump. I'll look more into wry tail but nothing I read quickly mentioned something about a hard mass. I'm a little worried she may have a tumor.

Black Star with large lump on back

I have a black Star with a large mass on her left side toward her tail feathers. It doesn't seem to bother her and we didn't notice anything different until she matured. She's about 16 weeks old and some of the other hens in the flock just started laying eggs today. I tried feeling it and it...

Cornish Cross Lethargic can barely stay awake

Cornish Cross about 6 weeks old is acting really lethargic. Eyes closed most of the time. Putting head on the ground. Doesn't appear to be eating or drinking very much, if at all. I'll add some crushed calcium and D3 supplements to that tomorrow. I also picked up some syringes just in case I need to give her something orally, but I'm hoping...

Chicken uninterested in food, not laying, and deflated last egg

Long-time reader, first-time poster. I have a small flock of 6 buff Orpingtons and last week on Friday I noticed that one of the girls was laying down a lot and eventually she made her way into the nesting box and stayed there ALL day. I suspected maybe a bound egg but could not feel anything...
