Hi all. Please confirm.for me the sex.of this brown Marans chicken. The black too at the end is for.comparison - I know he's a cockerel and he is from the same clutch of chicks. He crows, but the brown one doesn't. I have seen them play fight but posturing behaviours from the brown one go either...

Roos have the best personality at this age at least, and they're certainly very handsome when they're grown... I'd keep them all if we were not so close to the neighbours!

Out of 22 eggs I had 10 successfully hatch in mid-late October (6-7 weeks). I am all but certain these 5 are boys. Breeds are Pekins, Black Copper Marans and Barnavelder. Many thanks!!
