:mad:So I'm sharing my horrible experience with TSC this past week: ordered 10 chicks to be delivered in March but was notified by the hatchery they would be delivered early. The weather here had turned, minus temps and snow without an end. For the benefit of the birds, I made several attempts...
Saw a picture and fell in love. Would appreciate any detailed info, firsthand experiences, and a hatchery or breeder recommendation near Ohio. Many Thanks, CarinZ @ 3D FowlFarm
So not to pat our own feathers, but we will, very eggsciting to report flock laying 100%. After ten months of hard work it is quite the reward to have every bird lay in one day. Making 3DFowlFarm PROUD, way to go ladies. Treats for all!
Wishing you all good luck and happy holidays:yesss:
Running one 40 watt bulb to extend light 5-10pm and again 5-10am. Seems to be working and the birds are happy so far. Consistently 32-40 degrees now in the barn (and holding SIGH), getting 15+ eggs daily!! Got fingers crossed winter is kind, just a few inches snow so far:weebut its still November!
We raise all egg layers, chicken and duck. No butchering here! Located in Russell township, Ohio. Our flock was reestablished this year after moving in 2018, been doing poultry for 10+ years. We love birds and will be adding guinea fowl in the spring. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!
