Hi everyone! Has anyone ever made an arrangement where you raise meat birds and then someone else processes them? I was thinking of trading some of the finished birds for the processing, but I'm not sure what a fair honest trade would be. Thank you!

Thank you so so much!!! Since you're so knowledgeable, I can't help but ask... Do you have any recommendations for hen breeds to cross with our RIR roo? We have two RIR hens so we'll breed them, but we would love some other cool crosses. You know, to keep things nice and complicated! 🤣🤪

He's a full blooded RIR (well... an Ace Hardware bird, so I don't know how reliable they are...).
