Naked neck - he or she?

Ok SO, after further consideration... The lady she got it from just has all the chickens mingling .. so there is the distinct possibility that dear Nut is actually naked neck X silkie.... 😂😂 Apparently that fluff we can see on him/her is different from the chick fluff he had when she brought...

Naked neck - he or she?

I'm not sure if they were all the same age but she's definitely had them 5 weeks and 4 days, so even if he/she was freshly hatched they'd still be at least that old. I did think there was lots of chick down still. I'll let her know. Thanks!

Naked neck - he or she?

Ok I went back and looked through our messages to see when she got them. She's had them 5 weeks and 4 days... And from the photos I'd say they were only a couple days old at the most when she got them. So about 6 weeks

This is a friend's naked neck chick. She estimates 3-4 months old (feel free to correct me!) And is wondering if we are looking at a he or she? 😂 Apparently Nut (as they are named) has almost doubled in size the last couple of days.

Hi guys! We have just gotten three new babies in the last few days. 2 Plymouth Rocks and 1 light sussex. I estimate them to be about 4-5 weeks(? Feel free to correct me!). And I'm wondering if anyone can tell whether or not they are pullets or cockerels yet? They are hard to get photos of! 1...
