    Ive had hens hatch eggs in the nest, on the floor ,and in a temporary enclosure without too many problems. Some of my broody hens are super aggressive, others more relaxed. I keep them in the coop with the flock. Im still learning and by no means an expert.

    I spend time in the coop with the hen and chicks as often as I can. If the hen does not attack you, the chicks may get use to you touching them or picking them up. Some scrambled egg will bring them closer to you. Please post pictures.

    Have not used a incubator yet. Mine are hatched under the broody hen. So many ways to raise chicks. All are a great way. I like pictures of everyones flock.

    Wow..15 is awesome. I put 12 under my hen. 7 have hatched. So far all looks good. She is in the coop enclosed in a makeshift cage so the flock wont steal the chick food. In a few days the hen will take them off nest to meet the flock. I have done this several times and so far all works out...

    My rooster shows the hens everything. He has climbed into the nest box and coaxed them into it. Any treats I bring to them,I show to him first. Very entertaining.
