Have 2 Ba Roos 10 Ba hens and 10 ideal 236 hens. I have several friends that wants some chicks and I was just wondering what the crosses would be like.

What will the offspring out of a black australorp rooster and ideal 236 hens look like? How big? What color? Will they lay well?

Just got 30 buff rocks from ideal a week ago. Stopped at tsc today and came home with 6 assorted bantams. Guess I'm a addict.

My neighbor came over and gave him sugar water and he seems fine.

Just ordered 25 buff rock pullets and 5 roos. I also built a new brooder. I put 2 red heat lamps onside. My question is will the red lights hurt the chicks eyes as it hurts mine?

My sister inlaw has 3 hens that are black with a green sheen to them and are feather legged. To me they look like a cochin but they lay green eggs. Are they a cross or some other breed?

His comb is about 5/8" wide with two rows of points about a 1/2" tall I do not know what type it is.

He does not have puffy cheeks and I do not think he is a ee but can't be sure.

Sorry I don't have a picture. He is colered like a crele oeb and has a wide comb with two rows of points. I would guess he is 8 lbs and has red ears. He is very friendly and takes good care of his ladies. Any help would be very nice.
