I really really want goats. Problem is we live in the suburbs.
Has anyone ever boarded goats? either as the owner or the boarder? Would that be crazy? Do they need too much care to board them? Should I look for a boarding stable that won't laugh at me, or just someone with an unused pasture...?
I tried and tried to want chickens enough to fight the village for them... But actually quail are pretty dang cute, even if chicken eggs are easier to use, and it turns out I just love them.
Fortunately our only immediate neighbor is totally on board, so even if he doesn't buy the Japanese...

I'm new (well I spent some time here years ago but now I'm back) and I'm in the north suburbs. I've had chickens before back in California, but this suburb doesn't allow them unless you have two acres, so I was hoping to sneak some "Japanese ground parrots"...
