Thank you for your response. I was really hoping #3 was a pullet, but I am seeing saddle feathers as well. I haven’t heard him crow yet, but he is definitely less dominant than his brother.
Hi! We got these chickens from a store that only sells female chicks. We know for a fact one of the Blue Copper Marans is a rooster, but some of the others look like roosters to me as well. They are approximately 16 weeks old. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
Hi! My Barred Rock is almost a year old. Her head is bald and her comb doesn’t look right to me. Another one of my Barred Rocks has a tiny spot balding on her head too. The Rhode Island Reds and White Leghorns look completely normal. They have been together their whole lives. I haven’t seen any...

Thanks! I hatched them in my classroom and kept 10. Six of them turned out to be roosters. I have 11 pullets so I can only keep one. I’m going with the White Leghorn because of his adorable personality. I am so sad to part with these guys though.
Hi! I am getting ready to re-home these roosters. Please confirm that they are roosters. They are 14 weeks old. Number 4 had a tail just like 3’s. I don’t know who plucked his feathers, but I inspected him and he has a bunch of new green feathers growing in. None of them are crowing or trying to...
Thanks for your response. I hope they are all pullets. The BR’s combs photographed redder than they appear in person. Number 5 has bigger legs and feet, which concerns me. 🤞
Hi! I purchased these chicks on May 2nd from Tractor Supply. They were about 2 weeks old at the time, which is why they were on sale. I think they are 6 weeks old now. They were not sexed. The workers performed the muscle test to determine that these were pullets (hopefully). 3 are barred rocks...
