So glad I spotted that egg too! Do you think just dawn dish soap will get that off ? I was thinking maybe a coconut oil soak in warm water then wash him with dawn ? -

He was actually in one of the smaller eggs, unfortunately that yellow stuff dried that membrane over his head and he wasn’t able to turn or move at all in his egg. He’s doing good this morning 😁 -

I had my humidity at 50% until lock down then it’s been at 70% for hatching. Nose and mouth are clear. I moved him to his own incubator and seems to be doing good in there still. Was going to wait until those blood vessels absorb and maybe assist his hatch as that yellow fluid dries rock hard 😳... -

So I have a duck egg that’s pipped, I have 2 hatched ducks bumping the eggs around in there and they just happened to roll this pipped egg on its side and that’s when I noticed the yellow stuff oozing out.
