    Im sure the eggs will be fine, a few eggs i have under a broody are splatterd in mud/poop and have candled and everything seems fine.     Why you should only have one broody at a time

    I have been waiting for ages for one of my hens to go broody.... and now i have three!! I had to seperate them all last night because all the hens that go to see them seem to think its also a good idea to go broody.. NO MORE, three is anough.

    Broody Hen Thread!

    As i posted earlier i have 3 broodies and one of them is always under the biggest one, like she thinks she's a chick again!! Is this normal??? what should i do, she is sitting on some eggs now but i keep catching her under Lucy (the biggest hen).
