Ok your probably right the male quail that I was mentioning the one that didn't crow probably hasn't reached sexual maturity yet I bought them like 4 days ago. Thank you for your help.
So I got some coturnix quails 10 to be exact and 2 of them are males each male has 4 females (I think) the first quail is doing fine but the other isn't crowing or mating (atleast not that I can see) I only saw him mating one time I put the quails in a predator proof cage and put them outside...
Well I guess it because of starvation I've had a lot of chicks and rooster and even hens who had that same illnes and all I did was ask an expert and I would give her some vitamins in her water. And I would feed her raw eggs and vegetables.
I'm not really a vet or a chicken expert but I don't have to be a vet to know that I don't think it's a good idea to give a hen that much medicine. So it's better you ask an expert or a vet for information. Hope your hen gets better!
So uh I have a leghorn rooster who I think is 10-12 months old and for some reason he isn't mating with any of my chickens. So i tried the easiest method. Waiting so I waited and waited and waited I even put him in a giant cage with hens but he would never mate.
So what your basically saying is that all the 7 chicks are still considered purebred but it's just a fail or an error in the genes wich made the 4 chicks have 4 toes on each foot.

I have 7 silkies who hatched 5 days ago and I'm stumped because I'm not sure if my lil silkies are purebred or not because 3 of them have 5 toes in each foot but the other 4 have only 4 toes on each foot so I'm not sure if they are pure or a mix. Here they are:
