Fingers crossed we have one of each! That would be amazing! They are beautiful. I didn’t know a whole lot about them when I got them, as far as quality. But for that price, that’s not much more than we paid for the rest of our flock when they were chicks, and they are common breeds.
My son had been begging for one, and I actually found these in a local FB group for $10. I knew it was a risk getting two roosters, but we wanted one rooster anyways. So I think it’s still a win. Their color are so pretty in the sun.

All of our chicks have hatched, the brooder is already heated and set up, with other 3 day old babies. When can I put them in the brooder?
The first chick hatched around 6 this morning and the last one hatched around 7 this evening.

5 of my eggs pipped last night between 9p and 11p. This morning one has hatched while the others haven’t made any more progress. I can see a little beak moving inside of one, but nothing else from the others. Their pips are more like cracks. At what point do I worry? It’s 7am...
