    So we have mostly Australorps and Mystic Marans, so our main thought is to diversify some. Everyone that isn't black has a name, but 22 of them are extremely hard to distinguish.

    Isolated Pullet immediately did the egg song

    I just had to isolate a 4 month old mystic marans. Almost as soon as she was in the kennel, she did what I think of as "the egg song" and our rooster sang along. She's not laying yet. Is there a distress song that sounds just like it?
