    We've got a small flock of White Chanteclers, in Richmond. One rooster. 3 Hens (4th just got taken by coyotes) We've also got these.. 4 days old. 4 possibly 7, in the incubator right now.

    Well, only 4 out of 8 eggs were fertile. All 4 hatched. One hatched under developed. Weird. 3 looking good. Remaining hen is laying. 4 more in incubator. All are fertile. Fingers crossed. Am trading current 3 for 3 from another flock of White Chanteclers I've found somewhat local. 2hr drive.

    We've had White Chanctecler's for 6years now. Quite personable chickens actually. One thinks it's a dog. Hangs out with the dog. And eats out of his bowl if it can. Funny though. The dog is a Springer Spaniel. And he puts up with it. Consistent layers.about 2eggs/3days. All of mine slow way down...

    Hi all. Had two ( white Chanteclers) hatch last night. I currently have a 2 week old (female Chantecler) in the brooder. Do you think there will be issues if I add the new ones? Thanks Norm
